Cosmos Development Company - Lake Hills Village
The new Lake Hills Village development in Bellevue, Washington is designed to be a central gathering place catering to neighborhood needs and services of the Lake Hills Community. The mixed-use plan will include retail, office and residential space, underground and surface parking, a central pedestrian plaza with a bell tower, and a gateway terrace with a covered arcade. The King County Library Lake Hills branch is a major anchor tenant to the project.
Our geotechnical engineers assisted with both the design and construction phases of the project. Complications arose during construction when a perched water table and some unsuitable soils were encountered. We were able to mitigate these conditions by designing collection drainage system for the project. We also provided design pressures for a temporary soldier pile wall to support two mobile phone towers.
