Geotechnical Engineering
Robinson Noble has experienced personnel ready to provide consulting for all geologic issues. Our principal engineers have first-hand experience in the construction field, and this practical experience allows us to provide cost-effective solutions to difficult problems. Commonly called "value engineering," this yields economical solutions for our clients' needs. We also believe in the team approach throughout the design process, and understand the importance of communication and timely consultation to keep projects on schedule.
Our geotechnical services typically include project feasibility, subsurface investigations, plan review, and construction observation and testing. We provide information in a geotechnical document giving appropriate design parameters that a structural engineer, civil engineer or architect will use in designing your project. Some of our geotechnical recommendations include bearing capacity, seismic parameters, lateral pressures, excavation slope angles, and many others. All projects are completed under the direction of licensed engineers and hydrogeologists.
