Water Rights Support
Robinson Noble has been providing assistance and technical support in the application for, acquisition of, and defense of water rights for more than six decades. Our goal is to develop the best strategy for each client to successfully obtain their requested water allocation or change. To do this, our experts address water resource questions and help clients find options to help mitigate actual or perceived impacts. We also maintain close ties to and collaborate with multiple water rights attorneys throughout the region. This working-level familiarity allows us to better focus our technical investigations and reports to the preferred approach of a given attorney, which improves the project efficiency of the team.
We are intimately familiar with the water rights process in Washington State, including the cost-reimbursement approach to water rights processing. Robinson Noble is on the Department of Ecology's approved consultant list for cost-reimbursement work and can guide clients through the process.
